Original-Stahlstich von Fenner Sears (in der Platte signiert) nach Nash auf rückseitig unbedrucktem Büttenblatt, extrem feine und detailgetreue Darstellung, von alter Hand meisterhaft koloriert, bildliche Darstellung ca. 10 x 14,5 cm, Blattgröße ca. 14 x 23 cm, unter Schrägschnitt-Passepartout montiert, sauber und sehr gut erhalten, sehr eindrucksvolles Blatt 2100 gr.

Includes an inset in the upper right corner showing a Plan of Philadelphia. Cities, towns, rivers, canals, and railroads are labeled. Topography is beautifully rendered by hachure. Isaac Taylor Hinton (fl. ca. 1828-1831) was a English printer and publisher. He collaborated with his brother, Reverend John Howard Hinton, on his 1832 publication "The History and Topography of the United States". He relocated to Philadelphia in the same year, devoting the rest of his life to baptist ministry.
