A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy, being a bound collection of seven (7) Dublin, Ireland-based plays of classic and redone, again-performed plays. Bound in early calf leather with spine label reading "Select Tragedies," though rubbed, and…with gilt-stamped bands. Tips bent slightly, one scuffed to boards. Binding slightly dry, splitting to gutter to first paste-down, but yet fully intact and stands easily by itself on the shelf. Removed bookplate inside front flap, owner marks there now, occasional annotations, slight, gentle toning, some leaves are creased a bit and/or are lightly soiled, several small tears to pages, but again, overall Good condition, and it looks great on the shelf.
