End of essay. Covers generally clean with only slight corner bumping but spine ends both horizontally chipped at textblock level. An odd humorous exercise in esoteric Stock Exchange in-joking, probably incomprehensible to even the most veteran of today's stock-brokers, but occasionally amusing nonetheless.

This series aimed to cover all major sports and pastimes. This volume celebrates billiards with chapters on the history of the sport and on the different aspects of playing the game. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally smart, though with some shelf wear to the extremities, boards and joints. Lacking title page. Binding is strained between pages 34 and 110; otherwise firmly bound. Pages are clean but with a scattering of spots throughout. Good. book.
