The Color Identification Key, which shows identifying marks such as size, head, back, wing, tail, breast, sides, and habitat is a handy tool to use. Stuart Thompson was also the author of OUTDOOR RAMBLES and, incidentally, the nephew of Ernest Thompson Seton.
