Collins sought out the original sources of an exclusive selection of around thirty foods and ingredients Adria uses in his famous restaurant elBulli. The images feature the cultivated landscapes of their origin as well as the physical properties of the respective foods, accompanying them during their transformation into products and their journeys through processing and regional preparation. From edible rose petals to sea anemones, in sensuous photographs and with the aid of vibrantly narrative texts the publication conveys an impression of what is currently considered nutritious and healthy.

Sus fotografías panorámicas y proyecciones multipantalla son de las mayores que se pueden encontrar en el arte contemporáneo, y también de las más íntimas. Pero, para Collins, la escala con la que trabaja no es ni grande ni pequeña, sino simplemente «adecuada». Observar una película en pantalla múltiple resulta, por definición, una experiencia descentralizadora, y éste es uno de los grandes temas en las películas de Collins. ¿Qué le ocurre a alguien que viene de una situación diferente y se encuentra, por azar o por fuerza, en otro lugar? Precisamente, la relación entre la soledad y la compañía está presente en gran parte de su obra. Dicho en otras palabras: el desarraigo, la dificultad de establecer vínculos afectivos, de romper el aislamiento y desarrollar formas de vida colectiva. Esta situación se puede percibir en las películas más recientes de la artista. Bajo el título Hannah Collins. Historia en curso, la Obra Social la Caixa presenta en CaixaForum Barcelona una gran exposición que reúne, por vez primera, tres películas en pantalla múltiple y una veintena de fotografías panorámicas. Aunque La Mina, Historia en curso (encargada por la Fundación la Caixa ) y Paralelo difieren en la estructura y el escenario, todas ellas buscan el significado de la soledad y la compañía.
