Persian Short Stories" and publisher's name as given above. The title of the book in Persian is "Charag Akhar" (The Last Light), a 2017 reprint from a Persian-language US press gives the title as "Cheragh-e Akhar." The reprint edition uses the same English title. "Charag Akhar" is the first story in the book. A complete list of the stories in the volume can be found in Persian Wikipedia. Sadeq Chubak was an important figure in twentieth-century Persian literature. He died in exile in California in 1998.
