First edition. Glazed boards. Collection of shot stories. Entirely in Farsi (Persian), English title page at end with the title "The Last Alms. Persian Short Stories" and publisher's name as given above. The title of the book in Persian is "Charag Akhar" (The Last Light), a 2017 reprint from a Persian-language US press gives the title as "Cheragh-e Akhar." The reprint edition uses the same English title. "Charag Akhar" is the first story in the book. A complete list of the stories in the volume can be found in Persian Wikipedia. Sadeq Chubak was an important figure in twentieth-century Persian literature. He died in exile in California in 1998.
