Binding shows rubbing and wear to spine and corners; interior pages age-toned; small handwritten shelf mark '863 N36' in red on title page; library stamp on rear title page, plates lightly worn at edges; overall still in good condition, see picture. Published by the Société d'Encouragement pour l'Instruction Élémentaire dans la Province de Liège. Author was a former student of the École Polytechnique and professor at the École Normale de Metz, member of the Académie Royale d'Artillerie. 284g.

Inked note to title page: 'Taken out of the Citadel Bagdad on April 20th 1917 by me. J.H. Howell-Jones. Lt. Col. A.O.D.' A very scarce artillery title. Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
