Hardcover. Zustand: Good. A good copy of a 1923 edition of Keat's letters from 1819 and 1820. Green cloth hardbound cover, with a heraldic device, blind stamped on centre front, (an image of a lion and the words 'THE COMPLETE LIBRARY'). Gilt lettering on the spine is clear and not worn. There is shelf and edgewear consistent with the age of the publication, and a water mark on the rear hardcover. The page block is rough cut. Internally, there is foxing to endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's details penned to front pastedown. The title page is an illustration, incorporating the title and a drawing in red and black ink, and is clear and fresh. The pages remain well bound, the text is clear, and there are no annotations noted. CN. Used.

Zustand: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition book and a later vintage reprint in blue blindstamped boards. Fading to the spine. The contents show a little toning and age to the edges but are decent overall with uniform contents. A crack to the guttering towards the rear of the book.

Scattered foxing to edges of text-block, continuing to select leaves. A solid, square set in very good jacket. Keats' letters were first partially published in 1878, edited by Harry Buxton Forman (1842-1917). Forman then edited the standard edition of the letters for Keats' centenary in 1895, which was republished in 1901. As described in the preface, this volume (compiled by Buxton Forman's son, Maurice), is largely derived from volumes three and five of that 1901 edition, which contains the bulk of the correspondence to Fanny Brawne (1800-65). This edition published, for the first time, additional correspondence to the poet's brothers, George and Tom, and a previously unseen letter to the wine merchant and coffee-man Richard Woodhouse (1760-1833).
