In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Contains a colour frontispiece, and all thirty-one other colour plates by Briggs. Collated complete. A charming work in which Briggs shares his experiences of how angling allows the reader to better appreciate scenes of natural beauty. Briggs was known for his ability to capture moving water in painting, and examples of this are seen throughout, including at lochs Howie and Skae. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally, mostly smart, with a couple of marks to rear board. Minor rubbing to joints and edges. Slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities.
