Sie ist mittig unterhalb des Motives betitelt, befindet sich in einem Passepartout und hat ein Motivmaß von 10,0 x 12,5 cm. Robert Branst…on war ein herausragender britischer Holzstecher, der maßgeblich zur Entwicklung der Holzschnittkunst in England beitrug. Er war bekannt für seine präzisen und detailreichen Buchillustrationen, insbesondere nach Vorlagen von Künstlern wie John Thurston. Branston spezialisierte sich auf die Darstellung von Innenräumen und menschlichen Figuren, während er in der Darstellung von Landschaften weniger erfolgreich war. Sein Stil war geprägt von klaren Linien und einer sorgfältigen Schattierung, die seinen Werken Tiefe und Realismus verlieh. John Massey Wright war ein britischer Maler und Illustrator, der vor allem für seine Aquarelle und Buchillustrationen bekannt war. Er arbeitete häufig mit Robert Branston zusammen, wobei Wright die Zeichnungen lieferte, die Branston dann in Holzschnitte umsetzte. Diese Zusammenarbeit führte zu zahlreichen hochwertigen Buchillustrationen, die in verschiedenen literarischen Werken des 19.
