Dixon. In 1969 the novel was revised and shortened by Priscilla Baker-Carr, and the cover art was changed. 1960 printing because list of Hardy Boys novels on front flap goes to The Mystery of the Chinese Junk, first published in 1960; the list of Rick Brant novels on rear flap goes to The Blue Ghost Mystery, first published in 1960; and the list of Tom Swift, Jr. novels on the dust jacket rear goes to Tom Swift and His Spectromarine Selector, first published in 1960.
