The broad classification adopted for compilation of this treatise is largely based on the latest version of the Dictionary of Fungi authored by Kirk et al. (2008). In this documentary the Orders, Families, Genera and Species are arranged in alphabetic order under respective taxonomic category. For a particular taxon, the name of the class, order, family, respective authority and citation has been given as per authentic information available in the MycoBank and Index Fungorum. For every species and variety listed under respective genus, the exact information about the state of its occurrence and the documenting author has been provided. At the end of the documentary the references, which appeared in the main body of the manuscript are listed in an alphabetical order.
