"The tomb described in this volume was found during the winter of 1906-7, in the course of our first season's work at Lisht. The tomb is published as a unit in itself, and there will be no discussion in the present volume of its relation either to the other tombs in the cemetery, or to the mastaba within the enclosure walls of which it was situated." (Introduction). Little is known about this woman who lived at the end of the 12th Dynasty.
