Unser Exemplar stammt aus dem Besitz des Ignatiushauses Berlin und trägt einen entsprechenden kleinen alten Stempel nebst Signatur auf dem Vorsatz. Verkaufserlaubnis durch den Archivleiter liegt dem Buch bei. Titelblatt und erste Seiten sind am unteren Rand etwas fleckig. Im Übrigen sauber und noch gut erhalten. Tome de Jesus war portugiesischer adeliger Gelehrter, Schriftsteller und Mystiker. Als Gefolgsmann des portugiesischen Königs Dom Sebastian, der 1578 in Alcacer de Quivir fiel, geriet er in maurische Gefangenschaft und starb 1582 in Marokko. Sein Werk über die Leiden Jesu ist ein mystischer Text, der zwischen 1602 und 1609 erschien und in viele Sprachen übersetzt wurde. --- Albert Ludwig von Haza-Radlitz war seit 1826 herzoglich Anhaltinischer Kammerherr, 1829 Ritter des päpstlichen Ordens vom Goldenen Sporn, später Reichstagsabgeordneter. Since then it has been reprinted at least 80 times and translated into seven languages, which makes it the most influential Spanish contribution to medicine ever published.
