Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Christopher Nye was born and raised in Sussex. Abandoning his early ambitions to become, first, a Zulu warrior and, second, a diplomat, he settled for a course in catering at Leeds Poly. His career ricocheted between managing one of a chain of fast-food restaurants to selling pizzas on Brighton pier before he hit on the plan of bringing his own brand of Diner fare to the people of small town Britain, starting out with Uckfield where he set up Maximum Diner. He ran the Diner for eight years, and then sold out to two Kurdish brothers. He now lives in Brighton, where he works as a freelance journalist (well, okay, as a mini-cab driver). Maximum Diner continues to flourish in Uckfield, if not yet as a nationwide chain. Christopher is the younger brother of Simon Nye, creator of the hit comedy series, 'Men Behaving Badly.' Simon lent him part of the lease of Maximum Diner and is happy to support any promotion of this book, not least in the hope of getting his money back.
