Stapled to the front wrapper is a 5" X 6" printed notice transmitting this issue, and on this editor Cave writes "With compliments / (see p. 105/6) / RC" in his beautiful calligraphy. Beecher's wife, artist Barbara Beecher (whose woodcut frontispiece to "In Egypt Land" is also praised in Cave's review), also pencils "See Pgs. 105 & 106 / see inside / cover" on this slip.
