Original stiff printed printed wrappers covered by illustrated jacket (bound at spine) with original wrap-around band. Pages multicolored throughout, interspersed with four tissue-guarded etchings by Rockmore. From an edition of 3100 copies. 108 pages. Preliminary leaves of various colors and differing widths, pages and covers printed on heavy stock paper. A wonderfully extravagant production: one of 3100 copies hand-printed on handmade paper. Designed, printed and bound by Gypsy Lou and Jon Webb. Illustrations by Noel Rockmore. Signed by Charles Bukowski at the rear, dated 3-10-65. The original wraparound band is not present with this copy. Light edgewear to wrappers, one minuscule closed tear to edge of a preliminary leaf, another with a faint stain at edge; very good or better. Also included is a Bukowski ALS addressed to the Webbs written "in haste" on his way to "the pits hell." Letter dated 1968 and signed by Bukowski with its original mailing envelope which has an additional handwritten line in ink with an initial from Bukowski.
