Newspaper clippings tipped in on leading f.e.p. verso with pencil annotations beside. The meticulous notes throughout the catalogue record several purchasers. Among the most active bidders were Cunningham, Crocker, Willis, Holloway, Barnett, & Lilly. The annotator records the total sales at £144 2s: £60.11s on the first day and £83.11s on the second. Thomas Moore manuscript material is scarce in commerce today, with the last significant collection - a bound volume including 24 pages of music and lyrics in his hand accompanied by a long letter - sold at Whyte's Dublin in 2009 for 10,000.…
