Cloth. Zustand: Very Good. First edition. A very scarce commentary on the reforms introduced by Baron Von Stein in eighteenth-century Prussia, the first edition, compiled by Col. H. A. Ouvry. First edition. Bound in the publisher's red cloth. Very scarce work. Written by Col. H. A. Ouvry. Ouvry presents his view on the situation, suggesting that Stein introduced these reforms for his own gain, and to encourage the re-establishment of German independence. With an appendix containing the views of Richard Cobden on the matter, as well as J. S. Mill's advice to land reformers. Bound in the publisher's red cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities, a little darkening to the cloth and a few marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few spots to the first few pages. Very Good. None (illustrator). book.…
