One of a limited edition of 750 copies printed on a Barcham Green hand-made paper in Stephenson Blake's Verona typeface. A four-page leaflet featuring the Press's pressmark on the front page, drawn by David Young and printed from a zinc line block. The wood-engraving was made by Enid Marx. Copy number '41' of an edition limited to 50 numbered, hard-cased copies from a total edition of 'less than 300 copies' (the balance of 'less than 250 copies' being bound in printed card wrappers). Quarter red cloth over paste paper by Helen Morley, yellow endpapers, printed paper label to the upper board. One of an edition specially bound for subscribers, limited to 75 copies, hand-set, printed and, in this case, bound for Simon Lawrence of the Fleece Press (as inscribed on the colophon) at Incline Press. Printed on 160 gsm Heritage paper from John Purcell, London. The 13 pt Poliphilus type was cast by Peter Sanderson at Whittington and the 16 pt at M & H Type of San Francisco. Part-bound in green cloth with a marbled paper-covered front board, and printed label to front board. Small Octavo, 185 mm x 145 mm, pp. [24], illustrated. A book in Fine condition. 100 copies were bound in hand-made DeNimes rag paper from Two Rivers Paper of Watchet in Somerset, and devised for the Oxford Guild of Printers Millenium Project.
