The main objective is to identify the influence of stress on performance eval…uation in GADIP Municipality of Cayambe in the technical and administrative areas. The theoretical framework is composed of two chapters, the first one is work stress and the second one is performance evaluation. The instruments used were the ILO-WHO stress questionnaire for work stress and the performance evaluation questionnaire for performance evaluation. The results obtained at a general level indicate that the lower the level of stress, the higher the level of performance. Based on the results, it was shown that both variables correlate, allowing us to prove the main research hypothesis. In conclusion, work stress does not affect the personnel of the technical and administrative areas in GADIP Municipality of Cayambe, so their work performance is efficient and productive.
