Blind-stamped fly motif in metallic-red ruled border to two-tone cream paper-covered boards, metallic-red titles to grey spine. Front end-paper removed, but very good in slightly marked and rubbed dust-wrapper. Norman Maclean's famous novel of Presbyterian angst and flyfishing and indeed one of the best-known angling books ever written. This edition was reprinted from Barry Moser's 1989 Pennyroyal Press edition, though in a smaller format. The publisher later (about 1992 and possibly to coincide with, or as a result of, the release of the film) reprinted the original 1976 version, which included two other short stories, but retained the 1989 ISBN.
