Consists of 48 board-like leaves with 96 tipped on original photographs ( tipped on recto & verso on the leaves). Photo size is 220 x 280 mm ( allmost all are landscape format ). The album is in very good condition as are the photographs; only 2 or 3 are slig…htly faded, 3 showing a tear which was there before they were tipped on to the leaf. 2 of the album leaves have come loose. The album has a half leather back, the leaves are kept together with two steel pins. The photographs can be dated between 1875 and 1895. Most of them are albumine prints, 7 are salt prints. Very well preserved and interesting 19th c. collection of views in Egypt. Total price is based on 45 Euro per pictures ( album sells as one item - no separate pictures can be had ).
