Mounted - matted - and ready to frame . Very good condition . Somewhat uncommon . Shows in some detail the coastal part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, showing the Wapentakes, canals, turnpike roads, railways, stations, polling places, rivers, distances from London etc. Unobtrusive central fold.

Title bottom centre, reference and scale top left; no imprint below border plus the number 55 below title indicate that it is not the 1836 imprint, but the 1842 reprint. Later hand colouring.
