Spine discolored, a little less than half a shade darker than covers. Corners bumped, fraying slightly. Overall neat. Title page dated 1916. No separate copyright page. 388 pages, followed by about 20 pages of ads. Ads are glossy and untoned, printed on different paper than the body of the text. Plates are clean and glossy. Title, half title page, and appendix are foxed over their full surface. All other pages are clean, lightly and evenly toned. Former owner's name written neatly on half title page. Binding is shallowly cracked along front gutter and at center of text. Back gutter has previously been repaired with binding tape. No loose pages. Overall neat and secure.
