Edinburgh Trout Anglers' Club ex-libris bookplate to front end-paper and stamp to rear end-paper, slightly shaken and browned. A good copy. A narrative of the author's outings from Dundee to nine Scottish lochs between 1869 and 1883. Lochs Earn, Leven, Ba, Rannoch, Laggan, Dupplin, Shin, Clunie and Ericht, plus a visit to the Howietoun Breeding Ponds. R.B. Marston in the Supplement, and Hampton in his bibliography both give the author's name as DAVIES Hodge. However Ron Coleby examined a presentation copy signed by DAVID Hodge, and this is confirmed by Hodge's detailed oblituary in The Field, January 1889. .
