A folio of twelve photographic plates (13 1/2 x 5 1/4") with brown, gilt-printed cover is sewn to the first front endpaper. Double-title page with Wright designs in black framing red lettering. Gannett's name is misspelled here. The elaborate designs are printed in black and red. With original limitation page in facsimile stating "One" of 90 copies, including signatures of William Herman Winslow and Frank Lloyd Wright. Facsimile reprint of the 1896 edition, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and originally printed by hand during the Winter months of of the year eighteen hundred ninety six and seven at the Auvergne Press in River Forest by William Herman Winslow and Frank Lloyd Wright. The so-called Winslow House was built in 1893-94 and for Wright it was the very first commission as an independent architect. It is said to anticipate what became known as Wright's Prairie Houses.
