Original card covers bound in at the front and rear. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, perhaps just a touch faded to the spine. The contents, with some spotting to the text block edge are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The edges of the pictorial front wrapper are a little rubbed and creased at the corners. A handsomely bound and presented first edition. This volume collects four speeches delivered by Winston S. Churchill in Oslo, May 12-13, 1948 after his conferment of the degree of doctor of philosophy by the University of Oslo, together with addresses by Norwegian dignitaries Otto Lous Mohr, Jacob S.
