Despite their immense success they are both virtually unobtainable in autographic material. American Hall of Fame songwriter who wrote top hits for Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Tony Bennett, among others - before becoming one of the most prolific songwriters for Elvis Presley. He contributed heavily to Presley's movie soundtrack and provided over 30 songs used in King Creole, Wild in the Country, Follow That Dream, Kid Galahad, This Is Living, Fun in Acapulco, Kissin' Cousins, and Roustabout. He also wrote the song "Wooden Heart" which Elvis sand in the film G.I. Blues. Wise, a longtime sufferer of depression, is sadly remembered for committing suicide at the kitchen table of his home in front of his wife and children. He was 50 years old.
