Jones (left) of Vero Beach, Fla., is congratulated at a Korean air base by Col. Francis S. Gabreski of Oil City, PA, after they returned from a fourth fighter wing sabrejet mission to northwest Korea Oct. 1 on which Jones shot down the 100th enemy MIG-15 jet fighter to be downed by Fifth Air Force Pilots and Far East Air Forces Bomber Command Gunners. Gabreski has three MGS to his credit and is the leading MIG killer now flying in Korea. (APWirephoto).

Trade was falling off rapidly three years ago but now has been revived since Somalia and Tanganyika have attained independence".
