The plates are original stone lithographs.The striking views show the various farms, ranches, towns, etc., with much livestock, fine horses, and more. The scenic plates are numbered 1 to 49, with a duplicate of plate 19 to reach the complement of 50. Previous ownership inscription inside front cover: "This atlas was originally owned by the family of Dr. Strong at one time a practicing physician in Woodland & was personally acquainted with many of the old Yolo County pioneer familys.".
