Also hope you got something out of this book. Good luck to you. Sincerely, Fred "Tex" Winter." A scarce signed copy of The Triple-Post Offense by the legendary coach, Fred "Tex" Winter. Tex Winter (1922-2018) was named the head coach of Kansas State in 1953, where he found success using the triple post offense. His national profile rose in retirement, when in 1985 he was hired as an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls. He taught the triple post offense to Michael Jordan, who would use the program to win six NBA championships in the 1990's. He followed head coach Phil Jackson to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1999, and passed away in 2018.
