A collection of largely unseen images that were taken in a single year by Winogrand after he was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship. Winogrand left his home in New York City and traveled the country taking his quirky and moving images of people and places. Features text by Trudy Wilner Stack. Includes 200 duotone and color illustrations. A clean very near fine copy in a very near fine dust jacket and with laid in promotional sheet from the exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. A lovely copy of a book that despite it's recent vintage is somewhat uncommon.
