In den Warenkorb15 x 14cm. Hardcover in card boards, unpaginated [22pp]. Published by The Winchester Gallery to coincide with a Southern Arts Touring Exhibition. The first publication showcasing Tony Hayward's collection of handmade folk objects. Full-colour photography throughout. A significant precursor to a similar project by Vladimir Arkhipov who catalogued handcrafted make-do-and-mend utensils in his 'Home-Made: Contemporary Russian Folk Artifacts'. Hayward's Indian collection includes gardening tools, toys, lamps, and ornaments fashioned from painted tins and recycled metals. From the front dedication: "for the Moorthy and Tarapore families of Kolhapur and Pune, whose great kindness and hospitality has made this collection possible". Very good condition. Rare.
