Based on the 1928 play "Red Dust" by Wilson Collison, previously adapted to film under that name in 1932, starring Gable, Jean Harlow, and Mary Astor. "Mogambo" moves the action from French Indochina to Africa, where it was shot on location. Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly received Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominations, respectively, for their roles in the film. 10.25 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

Based on the 1928 play by Wilson Collison, about a love triangle on a rubber plantation in French Indochina. The film was the second of six films Gable and Harlow made together, following "The Secret Six" in 1931. Basis for the 1953 John Ford film "Mogambo," starring Gable and Ava Gardner.
