Anthony Armstrong was the pen name of George Anthony Armstrong Willis (1897-1976), an British-Canadian writer and dramatist. A writer in diverse genres, Armstrong's 'Naughty Princess' is a collection of fairy stories for adults, following on from his similar collection, Pack of Pieces (1942). Delightful, witty and tad risqué, the stories, most of which were published earlier in Strand Magazine, are both a challenge and a tribute to the conventional fairy tale trope.
