Also with the author's sta…mp with address on the inside of the rear cover. Conceivably the author's copy. A history of early aviation with cartoon illustrations and humorous vintage pilot scenarios. Even though this is a Volume 1, there does not appear to have been any further publications. OCLC/Worlcat show 3 copies in institutions. Roger Quincy Williams was an American aviator. He established The Roger Q. Williams School of Aeronautics. He designed the Yankee Aerocoupe. During World War I, Williams served with the United States Army Air Corps. Between 1942 and 1946 Williams served with the United States Army Air Forces. In 1971, Williams received a National Aviation Hall of Fame award from the OX-5 Club. Illustrations by Art Brewster.
