Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Some mild scribbles and some damage to a plate where pages 124 and 125 were stuck together. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine.

A very nice copy overall, and a fascinating glimpse into a by-gone age (as well as providing splendid examples of various types of book illustration).
