Many of the poems were originally part over another book called 'The 6:15 Unlock: A Kite from Soledad', and were smuggled out. Because of this, the poems were anonymous to protect the prisoners themselves.Contents include 'Always Easter', 'Black Prison', 'Failure of Power', and 'On Leaving Limbo'.Some poems written by poet Jim Moore, who spent time at the Feral Prison in Springfield, Missouri for refusal of induction.Edited by writers Joseph Bruchac and William Witherup.Collated, complete.
