Spines are quite heavily sunned, and there are some mottling stains to rear of Vol. 1 and spines. Some bumping to extremities but bindings are sturdy and gilt bright. A bit of offsetting to endpapers and some light occasional foxing to edges of leaves but generally internally clean. Macready was one of the foremost stage actors of the 19th century, playing roles such as Othello and Richard III to great success in the West End.
