Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Harker, G A (illustrator). Neuware - At Seneca Castle is a novel written by William Walker Canfield and published in 1912. The story is set in the small town of Seneca Castle, located in upstate New York. The novel follows the lives of several characters, including the wealthy and influential Harrison family, who own the town's largest factory, and the working-class residents who work at the factory. The main plot of the novel centers around the love triangle between the Harrison brothers, John and Tom, and their childhood friend, Mary Burton. John and Tom are both in love with Mary, but she only has eyes for John. However, John is engaged to a woman from a wealthy family, and Mary is forced to watch as her true love slips away.As the novel progresses, tensions between the Harrison brothers begin to rise, and their rivalry over Mary's affections becomes more intense. Meanwhile, the factory workers begin to organize a union and demand better working conditions, putting the Harrison family's power and influence in jeopardy. At Seneca Castle is a classic American novel that explores themes of love, class, and power in a small town setting. Canfield's vivid descriptions of the town and its inhabitants bring the story to life, and the complex relationships between the characters make for a compelling read. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
