Laid in are a n…umber of original and photocopied newspaper articles dealing with the production, six pages of background information on their Moroccan shooting location, and four pages of call sheets from Morocco. A tale of sensationalist foreign correspondents covering a war in Ishmaelia, desperately looking for news of a story to send home, and the unlikely man who finds the real scoop. Shot on location in Morocco and the United Kingdom. White self titled wrappers, noted as 3rd Draft on the front wrapper, production No. 10556, dated June 1986, with credits for screenwriter Boyd, novelist Waugh, director Millar, and eight other crew members including producer Sue Birtwistle. Title page integral with the front wrapper. 127 leaves, with last page of text numbered 126. Mechanical duplication, with undated blue revision pages throughout. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine bound with two silver brads.
