He was the son of Henry Brodrick of Mauritius & was educated at Exeter College Oxford. This collection received a warm notice in the Westminster Review - 'there is almost a Tennysonian wealth of colour and yet perfectly distinct from Tennyson's peculiar touch - such a sample as this will surely, we trust, send many readers to Mr Brodrick'. The poems are highly moral & deeply religious. 350 grams.
