A typed letter signed in the form of a flyer offering a reward to help bring back a "disappeared husband." Mrs. J.R. Wilcoxon of San Antonio, Texas writes, "On the 11th day of June my husband, Jesse R. Wilcoxon . suddenly disappeared from Corpus Christi. I will gratefully appreciate your cooperation in assisting me locate him or some information that would assist me in knowing his whereabouts." She continues, "Mr. Wilcoxon was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and I believe that he is just wandering around and perhaps might be in your city. I would suggest that you check the hospitals or it is possible he is being held for vagrancy." She then describes his physical appearance and features a photograph at the top of the sheet. Mrs. Wilcoxon signs the letter and includes her address and a postscript offering a "$25 reward for this information.".
