Whelan's poems are illustrated with two linoleum cuts by artist Fairfield Porter, whose letters record this contemporary plea to editor John Wheelwright: "Please do not ask Kenneth Whelan to send me a copy of MURDER AT POTTSVILLE." His reasons are lost to time. 6.5'' x 4.75''. "Printed in the U.S.A. on the private press of a friend of the Socialist Party". Original saddle-stapled blue printed wrappers.
