Buckley Himself Was A Cia Operative In Mexico City, Before He Became A Conservative Propagandist And Media Icon. Buckley Founded National Review In 1955 At A Time When There Were Few Publications Devoted To Conservative Commentary. He Served As The Magazine's Editor-In-Chief Until 1990.[51][52] During That Time, National Review Became The Standard-Bearer Of American Conservatism, Promoting The Fusionism Of Traditional Conservatives And Libertarians.
