Written by Jabez Hogg, an English ophthalmic surgeon and early photographer. Illustrated by Truffen West, a British plant biologist and artist. In the original full brown crushed morocco. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the boards. Front hinge just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
