Boards are moderately worn, rubbed around spine and on rounding corners, bruised at spine tips, with a few scattered small marks. Text block edges dull and dark. Internally a hint of occasional spotting and a little creaminess to pages else neat, clean and tight. A light-hearted volume from the novelist H G Wells, in which he insists that the best games for children require floor space, and describes a number of games including those played with toy soldiers and toy trains.
