The first printing in English of any of Mussolini's memoirs, these written while he was a soldier in the enlisted ranks of the Italian Army during WW1, long before he had adopted his Fascist ideology and persona. An expanded version was published by Scribner's in 1928, but the current edition is decidedly uncommon, especially in dustwrapper.
